LP isn't exactly a format, LP is "Long Play", or a fully-recorded studio-album. So this is an LP-record. Just like EP is "Extended Play" because it mostly doesn't contain only one or two songs (as most singles do), but features a few extras, commonly songs off the record released just before or after the EP (B-sides, if you like).
