I disagree a lot actually. ATF had plenty of good tracks on it but it did begin to sound the same after awhile.

Axe to Fall and Jane Doe are both the same, to me, in that they should really be listened in full. Both closers and openers are standout tracks to me, while the rest of the album flows pretty seamlessly with consistently great tracks.

jane doe absolutely murders ATF which im sure most people will agree on. ATF however is still a solid album, just not nearly as memorable

Axe to Fall rules but its very different from Jane Doe so you shouldn't really compare them. Jane is more emotional but Axe got this amazing energetic feel to it

I wasn't comparing them, per se. I was merely saying that both are best when listened to in full. Jane is infinitely better, though, in my opinion.
