Because Vrabel is past his expiration date. The man is a defensive-minded head coach that wants every game to be a horrendous, ugly grind-it-out in the trenches and that's simply not where the modern NFL is trending, and it's never gonna stop moving away from that old-fashioned methodology. It worked when we had the arguable best WR in the league and the best RB in the league in his prime. We don't have that personnel anymore and our RB has only gotten older. This is to say nothing of our complete lack of game prep and team discipline.



We need a Ben Johnson type to drag this franchise kicking and screaming into the modern NFL. I'm sick of us running the same brain dead scheme year in and year out. Vrabel cannot develop talent and he sure as hell cannot develop the rookie prospect equivalent of Josh Allen.



I get this is a tank year but there is literally NOTHING to be hopeful for when the rebuild comes around. You just desperately search for signs of life and there are absolutely none.



Nick Folk can stay, everyone else I don't care if they're on the team next year.

I do not want him around for the rebuild. We are gonna need a good two to three years to get competitive again and I have faith we can do it, but not if Vrabel is at the helm. We desperately need a hot commodity from the up and coming OC crowd



Maybe it doesn't work out and I look dumb when we fail if we do a new hire. But I'd rather fail trying something new than accepting the status quo. Titans fans need to stop accepting mediocrity as our benchmark, we've won nothing to deserve hanging back on that level.
