I fuckin' love this album man. I really do.
But after falling in love with AE over and over and over, same with Luminescent Bridge...I can't help but say that this album just feels a bit incomplete to me.

brevity is an issue of both this and Starspawn, agreed. with how the 3rd and 4th tracks kinda go together, it leaves the other "half" of the record to be two shorter dm tracks so it feels kinda lopsided. Coulda used one more longer opener track.

Honestly listening to this after Absolute Elsewhere helped me re-evaluate it in a more positive light. Knowing the level of talent involved, I do think this is chock full of so many great riffs it's just, for me, always getting over the hurdle that is death metal.
