yeah, the ward should replace sth on here, still don't know what. Perhaps The Wilde Flowers: at first sounds good, but wears off p quickly.

The Ward is already on the album though. You mean remove one of the songs completely?

Oh shit no way.

Youtube music usually tell's me if something is a bonus track from a deluxe edition or something http://prntscr.com/10h98we and it doesn't so I just assumed.

Thank God I never heard the album as it was originally.

Without The Ward this rating would immediately drop to a 4.5

I can agree with that, Caliggy. It still kinda baffles me that The Ward was left off the album

The only Opeth album that has a really bad mix, album is a damn sight better on vinyl.

The weak production and subpar vocals are the only problems I have with this album... I'm still a big fan of just about everything else and still consider it the best post-Watershed Opeth album

Opeth's Prog Rock albums are pretty much designed to be listened on vinyl tbqh

anywhere else the production feels wrong

You lifted that phrase from the dictionary definition of 'hipster', don't lie.

Also it isn't true, Heritage and Communion sound suuuu-perb on CD! And from what I can remember Cauda as well, but haven't really spent much time with it to be honest.

Well of course it isn't true. But you know how hipsters work, lots of virtue signaling.

👓🧐👨🏼

There is a major lack of hipster emojis. It is concerning.

The Ward should've been the closer on here, great song.
