Same with PT and DT. Better marketing and distribution I guess. DT was the most negatively affected because they actually took inspiration from the newer bands, smh. Opeth actually got mellower.

Mendez is so freaking underrated!

He's a beast. Love how he incorporates jazzy bass grooves so effortlessly into the metal setting. His slaps on BWP were so damn good. We need more Mendez grooves, and seeing that he's composed along with Akerfeldt, I'm guessing we will hear them. FUCK YES!
