May I ask what was fun about it? Wasn't there like 15 minutes of forced rape followed by an hour of worthless hillbilly characters being malicious degenerates? Rob Zombie is the worst filmmaker ever, right down there with Uwe Boll.

It has a good visual style, the characters all have actual personalities and are fairly fleshed out, good chemistry between the three leads, some legit funny dialogue, Ken Foree, William Forsythe was fantastic, a satisfying climax, and a satisfying conclusion.

No I don't think it's inherently bad because it shows a rape. It's the fact that the whole sequence serves no purpose, it's kind of shocking I guess but the dialogue and acting is awful. There were a couple of funny moments here and there but I was just pissed that I got suckered into another dumb RZ movie. I swore I would never watch any of his shit again after that, and his Halloween remakes are laughable. There's like one good scene where he kills a kid with a big branch that is actually filmed well, other than that the guy is a complete hack. Irreversible is great, and if you want to see a really fucked up well done rape scene that will haunt you watch Straw Dogs (1971).
