It's agalloch, it still sounds like agalloch, thus a least a little like the last three albums in some aspect or another.

This has the most in common with Ashes, but obviously with a much stronger black metal influence. Serpent is probably their doomiest.

Dekker's drumming seems a little off-kilter sometimes but otherwise I have few complaints about this. I like the ending better than The Mantle or Ashes.
