I agree with Buttery. I prefer the structure of this album, it feels slightly more coherent and well balanced to me. DSOTM is still an incredibly well crafted album though.

To say every song on Dark Side it outstanding on its own is a bit of a stretch I reckon - how often do you get the urge to jam On the Run by itself? I would think never.

Agreed hard there, but Time, Us and Them and Brain Damage/Eclipse are the only ones on Dark Side that work really well as separate pieces imo, the rest work well as part of the whole album but not on their own.

I'd add Breathe and Money to that list as well. So that's a good chunk of the album now haha But I still agree that's it's an album you really have to listen to all the way through
