I remember reading this review back in 2008 and putting an order in at Enemy's List based purely on what you had to say about it. I then went and saw Cloverfield with my high school buddies.
I got this album in the mail and it just blew me away. I had never really heard music like this before-it sounded pretty terrible, but I liked it, a lot; they used it artfully and it was beautiful and suffocating, sometimes like it was struggling to even exist... I know that's cheesy but it really was like nothing I had ever heard. And then that book!!! So, thanks for this review. Reading it again brought back a lot of memories.

just diced the living shit out of a block of ginger to Bloodhail. would wholeheartedly recommend it as a therapeutic, responsibly tempoed chopping board jam.
