a bit of pepper and some grated mature cheddar is a nice topping (with maybe like a dollop of bbq sauce or ketchup, whatever you prefer)

"I'm pretty sure I've never heard of this. I like beans and toast separately. like, white breat or wheat bread toasted with baked beans?"

yeah quite popular in UK. very cheap. goes well as a side dish for a full english breakfast with bacon and eggs

"My gf, who is French, is thoroughly confused by the concept and refuses to eat them, and then there's me eating them straight outta a can"

lol yeah French food culture could barely be more different. hot breakfast is less of a thing entirely. there is a far greater focus on lunch

Here's the secret:

Seeded bread toasted, spinach on top, baked beans cooked in a pan with some cheese and extra paprika thrown in, poached egg on top.

Meal of kings.

This is in constant rotation for me still. Album slays... and spares only the ones I love.

Shock finally wore off.

Awful Lot randomly came on shuffle on the ride home from work, which is fucking weird because I never use shuffle, and I immediately started tearing up.

I’ve made lifelong friends that I’ve met at shows from my hometown to Chicago to Memphis to bumfuck MO.

I’m really gonna miss these guys.

The new Emery album is helping me cope with this. They used a lot of 80s emo and punk aesthetics and it’s a great album for getting these negative sad feelings wrung out. Felt like there was a constant love for ETID and the energy and the riffs and the boom! Thought it was a permanently ongoing relationship. 🙁😭

It's still weird a metalcore band separation feels like loosing a friend to thousands of people across the globe. That's the power of music I guess

It's great seeing people share their memories of them and their shows, I always looked forward to them coming around more than any other band and I'm gutted I won't see them again.

Sick and tired of this soap opera...but damn if Low Teens' lyrics make one hell of a sense now.
