The death metal parts of this are enjoyable for sure but the Pink Floyd parts are kinda weak. This band and Rivers of Nihil sure do love Pink Floyd...

This has like no Floyd parts. If someone argued Nile worship on Giza then maybe..
Either way, I don't think it was ever part of these guys' mission statement to open new frontiers of metal as art. They just seem like dudes who enjoy 70s prog, 90s death metal, sci fi books, craft beer and pizza.

what's the relevance of craft beer and pizza? lol (not that both those life staples aren't great things)

@metalphil: completely disagree: the Death Metal parts are rather stale and run of the mill on the new one, while I am ok with the calm parts. But yeah, even those were done a lot better on Timewave Zero.

First album I heard from these guys and it completely assured myself that they are a must see band, which I have been lucky enough to witness three times now. True pros, always in top form. I wish so much they keep going like this. This band happens to hit my hard prog tendencies on dm exelently with a clearly distinct sound of their own.
