I rushed to check and saw plenty of British place names

LoG is fun as fuck live. Normally Mastodon are the one credited with being pretty forgetful live. Granted, that statement was ages ago and I have not seen them live myself.

Mastodon has put on some of my favorite shows and a couple clunkers. Kinda depends on the tour, but this one seems like it'll be great.

I mean I prob first heard this about a decade ago, and I'm still discovering more about it on my more recent listens.

For my 16th birthday, my aunt bought me CD's of Blackwater Park and this. I tried with this over and over but Opeth infected me. I overplayed the SHIT out of that record and don't listen to Opeth anymore. This, however, has returned again and again, seducing me anew each time. I can't think of any band who I have spent so much time with who also sound as fresh and engaging on another spin. When I first heard this, it wasn't my speed. I wanted chugs. I wanted brutality. But now, after nine years of running through every metal album I could get my hands on, I'd fucking kill for any metal band to release something this fresh and original. Twenty years later and this is still a White Whale

Really wanted to see them at Red Rocks but don't want to fly out there and they're coming to my city like two days later
