Completely agreed.

The Word Is Law is underrated, especially the redux.
Pain of Mind is pretty straight up hardcore though, so a bit of a shock coming from this

For sure.

After a first listen, this doesn't hit as hard as Through Silver In Blood or Eye of Every Storm, but I blame being sick for not being able to fully absorb it.
Will say, Turner and von Till are going all out on this thing from a vocal standpoint

Give it some more jams, it will hit, I promise.

Pain of Mind isn't bad or anything. Like, I'd never say, "Turn this shit off." I'm a little perplexed by the overall avg, although Trey did advise me to listen to the remastered version (which I did). So I'm assuming the low ratings must be because the original mix was super rough or something. I might add Black and Self-Taught Infection to my Neurosis playlist.

Original is a bit rough, but I like it better that way tbh lol.

LOL. Don't worry, Sowing, Robin Pecknold is the DLC bonus content for the album. You unlock him for backing vocals after you spin the album 4 times ;D
