atmoblack is pretty much og black metal tropes pushed to it's extreme in terms of repetition and chord progressions. i've found that it's easier to appreciate once you start to enjoy bm as a whole. i did a rec list on sput and that really helped me get into black metal. started with the melodic stuff and went from there.
