The Dream Theatre dude is really popping off, sounds like the framing for a concept album…that only makes sense to a Dream Theatre fan

I’m laughing at another numbnuts getting instantly personal because I insulted a band they like, bloody Dream Theatre - it’s very online
Your standards are what they are mate, made my judgement, you are now in the ‘joke’ pile awaiting a possible review if you behave like a human being at some stage :/

The thing about Sput is on other sites if you say anything personally insulting you get blocked/banned near instantly, prob for good, but here you don’t - so instead of getting peeved by that I now see it as license to respond and call that person a sad cunt and not get banned. You got to enjoy it, that’s the unique feature of sput, truly

‘so zak's entire personality is based off what older generations were like when he was a kid’
That is an absolutely ridiculous assumption. I’m just saying I appreciated where they were coming from as I was living through my own teenage years, I could completely understand how they had lived theirs and why they may have thought the 90s was shit.
The actual fact of the matter is a lot of ‘older’ people could also see the value and understand what was going on.
Doof don’t let ‘em get to ya.
Dream Theater lol

@Sowing, your tracklist has a better flow, placing the t/t down on the list and starting with one of the best tracks was a good move. Will prefer this order in the future!

I’ll take the opener as the best song on here.

Works well as an opener for me now but I rate at least four other songs to it higher on here.
'Read the Room' is the one that surprised me the most.

It’s a bloody good album. Love it.
I haven’t re checked the first album as yet, for some odd reason I refuse to go near it.

The highlights are up there, it didn't need the uptempo rock songs on there though, feel a bit of a throwback gimmick
Stuff like 'Pana-vision', 'Skrting on the Surface' and 'Free in the Knowledge' are quality
The first album is one of those you get the feeling a few songs were knocking about unfinished for a while maybe, ideas brought from outside the band I guess, and otherwise they were just jamming and seeing what direction they could go in. Bit of a mixed bag of material.
This one feels like everything came from the same sessions, very unified in style. I might still rate the debut a little higher for being a more knotty listen I dunno.
