ASHAMED is the clear frontrunner and one of their best songs ever.
Then that to (OF BEING BORN) and DSM-V and DON'T TRY is one of their best runs of songs ever.
Yes I do prefer their melodic side to their industrial. No, I don't love the first 2/3 of the album as much.

^ I can't speak on their old material since this was my introduction to them, but that run of songs is also my favorite stretch, also because I enjoy their melodic leaning stuff. ASHAMED was the first song I heard from the band, definitely made a strong first impression.
I see a lot of hate for the vocals but I find his approach really soothing, their better stuff (imo) is just a vibe, and his style has a lot to do with that. Very easy to sink into, even when the rest is occasionally bombastic.

@Durrzo -- check out the album Vol. 4: Slaves of Fear. It's my favorite for that reason -- I find it very melodic in a bittersweet, cold, dreary sort of way. Cathartic and nihilistic but fun.
