Definitely something that I think sets it apart from the previous as well as a lot of the genre yeah, a lot of this stuff is great when I'm in the mood but super same-y and I burn out quick.
This album has so many moments where I'm boppin along feelin the nasty in my veins and then something will grab my ear hard as fuck and make me go 'oo baby' Which I don't get as much of from this genre.

Splinters rules but the back half starts blending together for me too much. This thing covers such a huge spectrum and it's basically everything I could ever want from them. I always wanted to hear them lean a bit more into the slightly techy stuff while expanding their atmospheric side and this is PRECISELY that.

Thaw is very cool. I definitely agree with everyone praising the variety. They can still be nasty while adding more depth to their sound. This has way more staying power than Splinters.
