Where are you seeing them Monday night.............duh, I can just look it up on their website. Just curious, how many times have seen them?
Have you heard their new songs live? They sound just as good as their old stuff. Their set list ranged from Die by the Sword on Show No mercy to Jihad off Christ Illusion. Fav tunes live where Seasons in the Abyss, God Hates Us All, Angel of Death, Necrophobic, and War Ensemble. Its hard to actually pick favs because their choice of songs were all amazing. I will post a set list on here when I get it.

Jihad was awesome when I saw them live. Cult too.

Yea, someone on the Slayer forums posted a set list. It's really good, so I'm pumped. But I wish they'd play "Flesh Storm" instead of "Cult". Nothing wrong with "Cult" (it's a great song), but "Flesh Storm" is just...amazing.
Can't wait to see "Jihad" live either

Slayer has come back from the dead. What you said about it is absolutely correct. Flesh Storm is the best song on the album overall. This album deserves 5 stars, though, but nonetheless, good review. Hail Slayer!

i think Jihad is but i think those songs are up there with like Angel of Death, Manditory Suicide, and Dead Skin Mask in terms of best Slayer songs

Hmmm. Good album, as much as I despise to admit it. More variety in the riffs and solos would be nice. Flo Mournier should be every thrash/power/death metal band's session drummer though.

Flo is really good; Dave is better.

That was some awesome stuff right there.
I just watched the rest of what he did at the Modern Drum thing and it blew me away. This Message Edited On 04.06.07

I disagree still. I think Flo is much better at constructing parts than Dave, and he also has alot more variety (with jazz influence and whatnot). I also just realized his name is Mounier, not Mournier, which is why there was only 11 Youtube videos instead of 15329403928.

His last name was weird, I just knew he was the drummer for Cryptopsy. I just went along with it, and obviously some others (or else there would've been no youtube.com videos) thought the same

I disagree still. I think Flo is much better at constructing parts than Dave, and he also has alot more variety (with jazz influence and whatnot). But
1. He did not pioneer a style that has been evolving over the past 25 years
2. Hes younger. Dave isn't exactly "young" anymore
and 3. He's a Technical Death Metal Drummer. Most Tech Death Drummers need that variety for their style. Dave is in a Thrash Metal band, which does not need as much of thatThis Message Edited On 04.06.07

1. Dave was in Slayer before Cryptopsy was ever a twinkle in Lorm Worm's eye
he wins

tbh, Dave's style of drumming was unknown to the world of Metal at the time, so I think it's safe to say that without Dave completley owning his kit, Flo would not be what he is today.
