The mix is truly offensive. Said it multiple times already, but every time I try to come back to this I end up aggravated by how shit it sounds. A huge chunk of my opinion on this album is purely down to it being borderline unlistenable in that department.

The majority of this album is chord progressions over blastbeats and meme vocals. The breakdowns are the only noticable riffs, which is sad. These newer "blackened deathcore" bands are not riffing.

deathcore pre-chug-core definitely had more riffs, even though modern post-chug-core has made movements toward riffing again. Fused Together in Revolving Doors came out 20 years ago and loads more riffs and actual songs in it.
