I don't agree but I can see where you're coming from Kris

Blood Sugar Sex Magik has no filler at all. In fact, neither does this. But it's not on the same level as BSSM.

That I can agree on

I just have a doubt. If a song like "They are Red Hot" isn't filler, then, what it is?

Practically a bonus track. If we're talking about filler I'd rather point at Apache Rose Peacock and The Greeting Song, though I like the latter.

I really enjoy every single track on BSSM to the max and almost none on here... They play in totally different leagues.

But then, if it is a bonus track, what's the point of its existence?

For me is the other way around. Opinions and tastes though.

In all honesty I always had the most problems with the BSSM tracks almost everyone loves: Sir Psycho Sexy and Funky Monks. I guess I'm just not a funky guy. Since my favs are Breaking The Girl, I Could Have Lied and Under The Bridge it's probably not surprising that this is my cup of tea.

There is none, but to be fair a track like They're Red Hot is in general not the greatest musical achievement. I guess they only covered it cause of the title, don't know why else they would have chosen it.

It's just to add some fun to the album which it definitely succeeds in.

Cabron is way worse filler than having a pointless track like They're Red Hot after an epic like Sir Psycho Sexy

Cabron is pretty cool though. Not stellar, but quite nice musically.

I have liked this version of the band over their earlier years, this album is great.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Mother's Milk are my favorite Chili Peppers albums, Californication coming right behind. By The Way starts out excellent, but the middle section has quite a lot of filler to digest in one listen.

Minor Thing, Don't Forget Me and Venice Queen are my Top 3 here.
