Really it's the overall atmosphere that paves the way, which isn't a bad thing whatsoever and a pretty bold maneuver on their part. Which isn't to say they still can't dazzle with leads and technicality, but it's so much more about the melodic tones and textures as a whole.

I'd love to, but I'm already taking a mini-vacation to New York, can't really make a trip to Chicago work as well financially. Hopefully someday though!

Yeah this is a solid album and I doubt they could ever put out a shit one, but SM and Aathma both crushed this one into the ground imo. It's lacking something special that those albums have.

This is better than SM and Aathma, Aathma is a weird record to gage for me but its been a long time since i listened to it. .Ive been flitting around with Gothic stuff(Paradise lost, My dying bride) and crust lately with a mild Darkher obession. Also trying to catch up with 2023 albums, have been reading more than music atm.
