The remastered covers are so much better, both these are pretty terrible compared to them. I like the original WFCC cover a bit more though

i love this art personally. think it perfect suits the music of the record.
PTES is just a mess

I like the artworks for this and PtES, both remasters and the originals, because they fully represent the chaos and intensity of the music. But that's just me.

Demo version of Bitter and Then Some is better than I was expecting
This is still the only Converge album I have not heard in full (Unless you count the debut, which I heard in separate and disorganized pieces)

Yes! Love the demo version of Bitter and Then Some so much. Someguest didn't agree that it was better, it was cute

One of their best. A shame to see only a 3.8 average

Yeah easily, it's just a hard record to get into, maybe more than Jane Doe

Listening to Converge for the first time in 2 years, in fact I havent listened to anything punk related for that long.

Damn 2 years?! Can't stand it when I get away from punk for too long
|

Ive spent that time exploring pretty much every kind of metal and prog, feels strange coming back to punk, and it will probably take me a while to become re accustomed to the sound again.

Same here, it's kinda Converge's surf rock track, probably their softest too. Also I love how year of the Swine is right after to break that small moment of serenity

Drumming on Year of the Swine is so good
