yeah i insta jumped on the void chorus hate train but honestly, aside from that chorus, its a solid volumes song.

I mean FBX def isn't as good as Sun Killer, but it doesn't have to be. It's hella fun, and is a great way to hype you up for the album.

i avoided the new spirit box record until rn.
sun killer is..:
1. a completely different type of intro
FBX is all about the bounce. its super simple for a disctinct vibe. Sun killer? melodic singing and weird ambience? not nearly as fun or bouncey IMO
is it artistically superior? i mean i guess but god "to temper the blade/the twist of knife"
jeez just let us smoke a blunt and listen to the Mike/Myke combo write ultra simple gangsta lyrics we just want that aggro vibe you know its an intro track its all about steez

yea fbx and sun killer are completely different vibes lol. outside of braunstein producing spiritbox and working on this i rlly dont understand the comparisons to eternal blue ppl have been tryna make w this album as theyre generally goin for different things outside of like bend. w/e tho i like em both

i seriously think its just the production similarities. and also similar timing in 'the scene' for dropping new stuff.
people will compare the weirdest stuff though, like on a misery signals video someone will say "sounds like the amity affliction!"
like , wHAT br00???

ah gotcha. yeah i just like how the late 00s, early 10s trend could come back. both songs are completely different outside of just being a simple opener that hypes you up. both do it in different ways.

@gaarth i would actually disagree, spiritbx's Sun Killer is not a simple opener.
FBX is a simple opener lol. Sun Killer is a whole melodic song with like 3 movements!

@momentz its literally a simple chugfest that ends with a crazy build up leading to a final breakdown. they even stated this in their Apple Music song breakdown.

also FBX has 3 movements in my opinion too
edit: simple beatdown, faster riff near the middle, then finishing off the same trap beat beatdown.
