This one is a grower, weakest of the comeback trilogy but still a bloody good time.

Just feel it lacks the consistency of the other two, this one loses me in the middle for a couple of songs but then finishes really strong.

Don't really dig the ballad type song on here at all, forgot its name and that says everything really lol.

for me it just doesn't move me in the same way or have basically any of the really great standout songs. Dani's lyrics are also maybe his weakest on this one which is a big hit to it for me. somehow it's still very good.

Tbh I've never listened to Cradle for the lyrics, but I know Dani can be a wordsmith.

Having said that, there are some really good hooks scattered throughout this thing.

I agree in a sense with you though, there's no real song I could pick as the real 'standout'.

Crawling King Chaos would be that. Best song since Wester Vespertine

Great choices. I can't see this competing with Hammer, but it doesn't have to. Album is solid af.

Hammer is my favorite from last 3 too. Yours Immortally is their best track since the Midian days.

After the second spin I had to lower this to a 4, placing it at the same level of their previous two. I sincerely don't know which one I like the most. All three albums are excellent but I think Hammer posibly has a little edge for me idk...

go back and check out Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder it's a good album, overlooked. it came a little bit before the trilogy of albums that people praise on here. it's better than manticore and darkly darkly venus aversa which is kind of weird, Godspeed was good, manticore and darkly came out after Godspeed and were boring (imo) and then hammer of witches came out and put them on the path they are on now.
