I do like HV more than this by quite a bit but Trophy Scars always take a while for me to digest. You gotta take it in layer by layer to see what they were building and I just haven't given this the time it deserves. And yet I'm overjoyed they're still making music.

i remember buying Holy Vacants in an hmv on release, and in hindsight that seems like a total miracle

Top 10 all time band ever [2] Have remained one of my favorite bands since ‘06. They mentioned writing new stuff after this album, so hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for that to come to fruition.
