I liked this more than most people (clearly) but I'm kinda glad this is getting panned. It doesn't feel authentic, but the disappointing thing is that it's probably very authentic to who Lorde is right now. She's always been kinda pretentious but maybe it's a lot easier to get away with that as a teenager (and when your music is amazing).

Anyway Fallen Fruit and Secrets Of A Girl are genuinely really really great and give me promise for her future output.

"The overly "good vibes with my friends in the summer suuuuun" sensibilities of this record gets nauseating after a while."

This statement just confirmed I will not be checking this out.
