Yeah you cannot go into this one expecting it to carryover the sounds of his previous albums. It's an incredibly lush wall of sound. Also whoever he recruited to be his drummer on this thing deserves recognition. The drumming on this thing is spectacular.

I was in love with the drumming on Melting Sun. In fact, I was in love with every facet of that thing, which is probably why this didn’t click. Gonna try it again since I’m years removed from that love affair now
