I think it's hard to separate this from the special, it's definitely striving to be more than just a bunch of comedy songs. Also, I suppose it depends a lot on how funny you find this and, if you buy into the overreach, how profound the other elements are.

It's weird that you guys are so turned off by this. It's a clever blend of dry humour, existential angst and dystopian poetry, what's not to like?



Thankfully I have another echo chamber where we all adore Bo.

I remember when the special came out it was at a weird time where it was getting too late to "commiserate" with but too early to be a sort of "look back" because what we were looking back on was still super recent and after everything that had happened I really just wanted to look ahead

There were definitely some cool moments but as a whole it didn't land. Maybe I'd feel differently going back to it now
