I commented this on a list as well, but I once had a dream where I was helping a butcher make sandwiches… and for some reason, this was happening in my childhood home. Turns out the meat was actually human meat, and it came from the people this guy murdered. So I tried to escape and he chased me with his massive knife, as he wanted to make me his next victim. Thankfully I woke up before he caught me. I stopped taking melatonin as a sleep aid after that, as it always gave me really vivid and disturbing dreams

Damn Koris you get such vivid dreams just of melatonin? They work fine for me but when I took sleeping drops like Alimemazine I had literally the most traumatizing dreams. They were so vivid and fucked up that I was in shock when I woke up. Took me several minutes to even realize I was dreaming. Never again.

^ fwiw, I'm already a really light sleeper, so I tend to have some pretty vivid dreams even without melatonin. So melatonin just exacerbates that even more
