the "new album when" demands aged nicely I see, sweet!

you can end a backlog in an instant by refusing to acknowledge the concept. I've been 'clean' for 6 weeks, so it appears to be working

The more I jam this the more I hear a huge gothic rock/post-punk influence in the atmosphere and some of the riffage. This is also a lot more bm than it is dm tbh.

Is it tho? I mean I know it's definitely a hybrid I just dont know that I'd say it's a lot more one than the other

But then again I'm not great at genre classification or aurally identifying the traits of said genres

I definitely hear a lot more black metal riffs here than dm for sure. There's definitely some dm sprinkled in but this is like 75% bm imo lol. Slays hard regardless of genre though.

Agreed

Probably one of my fav bm albums if that's the case!

Fuck yeah bro!! This reminds me a lot of Paracletus and Fas mixed with something like Ved Buens Ende and Ulcerate lol. This one has a lot going on.

yep, I definitely feel like this is disso BM with post-punk leanings more so than DM but even if takes in some of those influences, it’s a pretty unique take on that formula I reckon

rules either way

I don’t even really hear post punk here, it’s more psychedelic and wacky

I definitely hear post-punk and goth rock all over this thing.

gothic post-punk (2)

I’ll have another listen next time but it’s definitely there and fairly prominent imo
