the sneeze on Parasite Eve still 2020's cringiest music moment, and some others parts on the record also make a strong case, especially on 1x1, but damn I haven't enjoyed bmth this much in a long time

honestly that's some 21 pilots level shit, but I guess at this point both bands and their fan bases are pretty much indistinguishable

I gotta say Ludens and Teardrops are not at all songs I forgot. Quite the opposite to the point where I've had them in my head since I first listened to them. They're a blast to play drums to and I love the meteora vibe!
Obey is also nice, Kingslayer is fun, but the rest doesn't stand out much to me. Ludens and Teardrops have been played more than 100 times already though. I'm honestly not one to care too much about lyrics as long as their meaningless and not offensive or overly aggressive like some limp bizkit stuff. The melodies and overall energy is those songs is so uplifting though.

Something about the combo of rubbery guitars, punched in drums, edm/inception synths, and pop progressions really rubs me the wrong way. I also get the sense that Oli is working really hard in the studio for these unimpressive vocals that he still needs backing tracks for in live settings.

I'd honestly take Suicide Season over this. At least it has nostalgia working in its favor. Lol legitimately one of my favorite albums in middle school, despite it sucking.

I gave in because of the hype and listened. Absolute rubbish.

I guess I’m getting old or something.
