I don't believe anyone that says they know what a dgd song is about let alone relating to it. Maybe pre-tilian but even then. Dgd is a party band for me.

If you go to r/posthardcore dgd is literally their favorite band. Out of the top ten posts I want to say at least half are about the band. It's the worst possible place to go for recs imo. There's occasionally some self made stuff that's dece though. I do like the mathcore sub a little too actually.

And I'd like to know those songs meanings actually Grey. Those are two of my favorite songs.

I always assumed dgd eventually took the coheed approach and started writing a story. They've definitely said the album covers connect to one another.

Pretty sure Post-Hardcore is dying and Gavin is the biggest active band on the genre by a landslide (since Pierce The Veil died with the rape allegations). So... eh.

Reddit tends to be in the asses of popular bands only.

@Concubinary as far as I understand mostly everything Tilian writes is pretty simpy so, they do have a really vague meaning.

Ooooh shiiit. Explains the lack of music. Their last album sucked but the two albums before were genuinely good. Very fun music.

Their first is pretty forgettable bar currents convulsive. Misadventures wasn't the worst I guess but I was vehemently let down hard.

I really liked A Flair for the Dramatic and Collide with the Sky. Hope they eventually release more good stuff.
