With you on Bleed Into Me, that would have been interesting.
I'm just waiting for Trivium to release a full instrumental track again. We haven't gotten one since The Crusade. (not counting intros or interludes)

Okay I actually don't really like how Heafy is singing on this record, his delivery is kinda off

Some songs do sound a bit awkward, namely the title track and Scattering the Ashes. But aside from that nah

Yeah it's very obvious on Scattering the Ashes. I'm sad at how many blast beat sections are in here that just don't come across because of the produciton. The production sounds pretty good in the 'huger' sections, but when blastbeats come in it just kinda falls flat

The production is a sorta nitpicky flaw that I do notice here as well. But I deal with it. Heard far worse out there.

Yes, production despite being very clean at the same time sounds sterile as fuck

Yeah, I loved the production of In Waves, they never did something similar after that sadly...

In Watch the World Burn I always thought he said "Crusts between the gears", and I would always be like, "crusty gears huh"

Undoubtedly far better than any Spawn of Possession album.

In Waves is quite sweet, but it's a little too loud imo. I get tired halfway through the album even though I'm enjoying it

The fact that people think this is better than even In Waves is quite shocking

Way less than this at least

Small sample size, and the times they are a-changing.
At least we’re consistent e.g. this is better than VF and about as good as SOAD’s s/t lol

Rym has this higher than In Waves too
Nice

Stop stop stop. This is nowhere near as good as the stone cold classic that is SoaD's s/t. This is good. Nothing more, nothing less.

I mean, I did give it a 5. All I’m saying is that if this and that are both 1.5s to someone, then they’re definitely consistent. I’ve seen some users go to an artist and 5 their least acclaimed albums while 1ing their most acclaimed, and it’s hard to believe they aren’t shitposting (HardcoreVegan for example).
