"The singer/composer of Elder even stated Lucid Little Dreams by Motorpsycho to be one of his biggest musical influences"

Damn that's pre sick... would love to hear an Elder record more influenced by Heavy Metal Fruit era Motorpsycho though

Jammed all of these in the leadup to Omens. I keep returning to that Bo Hansson Lord of the Rings album.

Forgot that this album came out this year. Really didn't stand out at all. Every album these guys release is a huge drop in quality from the one before it, a complete mirror of the trajectory Mastodon had. If you're gonna do a prog record, how about make it a little bit, just a little bit, just a TEENSY bit actually interesting.

never cared about these guys before really cause stoner rock generally isnt for me nowadays so this actually aint bad. i cant imagine anyone at any stoner rock show ive been to listening to this though, some of this is borderline ozric tentaclesy. not a fan of the singer but ive heard way worse dudes in way bigger bands. i guess this is my soundoff

I must admit I kind of forgot about this album during the last few months. Lore and Reflections hard a lot more replay value IMO. Also, albums such as Motorpsycho - The All Is One, Causa Sui - Szabodelico or The Flower Kings - Islands filled its spot. I have to listen to it again.

Yeah, I have to give it another listen, was a bit underwhelmed by it when it released. Lore and Reflections were more exciting.
