vox are a bit characterless, songs stretch on a bit too long but its moody and comfy and feels like early eighties stuff in certain ways
probably just a 3.0 but im a sucker for this type of sound

Thats fine, The Unnatural World is just as good. This isnt a lesser album because its not Deathconsciousness. It has plenty of problems.

Dunno if people were expecting Deathconsciousness Part II or what but I thought this was enough of a departure from their previous albums to maintain interest without overreaching for experiment's sake. If anything it's maybe a little "too safe" but whatever, I jam this every now and again and enjoy it each time.
