I agree on most of your taste Slex, but not this one sorry. Will spin again to see if that changes.
@Jay, try Pissed Regardless when you in a hardcore/thrashcore mood, despite their name, it's good.

Just a lol worthy name haha. I believe you.
Wow. I really enjoyed this upon my first listen. Last three tracks are phenomenal, especially Recommit. Glad this new album sounds more like their older stuff. I admittedly was apprehensive about checking this out... considering their last album didn't do much for me.

If anyone is curious here's where Jim mentions it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0KPpvJgw94
I'd say a deluxe version might be on the way, but I'll be fine with an EP. Thrice did it with Deeper Wells and it turned out better than Palms lol

Is this gonna her Spotify in twenty minutes? 12 o’clock/fri on the east coast, 9 here on the west side. Not sure why my CD order was delayed until Tuesday, but I am dying to hear this after seeing all these rave reviews.

I'm sure it will be. It came out on Spotify here in Australia the minute it struck 12 (I didn't stay up that long lol I read it on reddit). This is the most they've rocked out since BA.

Gave this a couple more listens and gotta say its super solid. May change, but i wish this album left me with a stronger message or statement overall, other than a bunch of consistently strong songs. Still, def my fav since Invented.

Surviving is awesome — one of their best openers. Probably second after Table for Glasses imo.

Onionbubs — DUDE. Was literally coming to say the same. I kinda hate 555. Was just reading on the JEW subreddit though and a lot of them are saying it’s amazing and the best song on the album. The fuck? What are they smoking?
I think we’re on a simultaneous listen here. I’m also on One Mil. LOVE IT.

It's understandably the weakest song here but it's still such a beautifully lush bop. I don't know, to hate it seems a bit harsh.

Sorry man, I kinda hate it. But it could grow.
You guys weren’t kidding though, this album is fantastic. T/t (best opener since Table imo), Delivery, One Mil, Diamond, Recommit and Congratulations are the best here.
Top three are Congratulations, Recommit and Delivery (in that order). That said, I hate that the album is only 36 minutes and even some of the best songs here feel a bit slight and almost underdeveloped. But I can see what they were going for here and fast and to the punch was obviously their intent here. Might be a 4.5. The 4 is a preliminary first listen. Nothing beats Clarity, but I think this will join my second tier alongside Futures and Invented.

Hey, it's definitely understandable. I wish it built up to something more, personally. I dig the vibe though, so it doesn't really effect my rating.
Really happy that you're loving the album, though!

could grow to a 4 the more i spin for whatever reason their more straightforward albums dont connect right away and their slower more expansive albums are super immediate for me
congratulations is one of their best closers tho

Yeah Congratulations is so good. Goodbye Sky Harbor, 23 and Mixtape are my three favorite Jew closers, but Congrats is definitely up there with them.
