too bad about the Tom songs on this album. imo he's usually in pretty good form and all of his songs on ATP fucking killed but the only real hit he brought to this one was Portland, although i like Last to Know quite a bit

The production really doesn’t bother me that much. At their core, they’re a punk band. But it’s also not a stand-out feature of the album like ATP. I give this a album a 3, mostly due to the song-writing, particularly uncatchy hooks.
