I won't lie Neon Grave grew on me quite a bit. It's cookie cutter but the chorus is catchy and the synths feel great. I also like the lyrics and how they aren't just about break ups and getting drunk, which is pretty much 80% of this album

Rory is a great vocalist, but it feels like they don't have very good songwriting as a band. Or at least not consistently good songwriting. Sometimes they release songs that just slap and sometimes they are so boring it's an insta-skip. Sucks.

I would agree Bandit, and I think this goes all the way back to their debut. The songwriting was solid on their first two albums, but I would say if Rory wasn't in this band, I wouldn't listen to them at all. Unless they had another vocalist that was just as good
