yea Angel these are way less drenched in reverb and are shorter, almost as dramatic while less stark sounding.
I can see how it can be a drag in terms of the tempos she used, but most of her material that worked as acoustic 'ballads' played on similar speeds. UR was more straightforward cuz her S-S skills weren't as sharpened as they are now, where she wants to flex with more instrumental layers and effects to create stronger moods, yknow to avoid what she already treaded on 6 years ago. It could be dreary but she definitely isn't one-note here.

A couple of these songs grow on me a little each time, but then there's songs like "Erde" and "When Anger Turns to Honey" that do absolutely nothing over three minutes and then fizzle out.
