There has been a lot of good shit coming out this year, fully agree on that.
So many great releases. Definitely a good year for heavy music

I still love the first like 30-45 seconds of Trapped. Such a fun intro.

Everyone in here needs to go listen to that new Division of Mind record and see how bad this is in comparison

Havent heard Division of Mind but they seem alright just off of sampling a bit of their new record.

Division of Mind are pretty cool actually. They do fall in line with s00pa heavy br00tal core bands but theres some weird tidbits scattered through it that make it more entertaining than this pile of blandness.
|

Division of Mind are the embodiment of MEDIOCRE
but of course only about 40 people on planet earth rate them so they must be cool lmfao
|

This thing is still awesome. Better than I gave it credit for.

Belleville and Serpents Touch are the best songs on here. Absolutely explosive

Agreed, this is still fun as fuck. Whenever I'm in the mood for some pissed off yells and slow chuggy breakdowns, this band is my go to.

So is this any more interesting than Laugh Tracks or is this still mind numbingly dull

If you didn't dig laugh tracks I can't imagine this would change your mind
Although I think this is better than LT by quite a bit

I'm not sure how to respond since I wouldn't call any of their releases "mind numbingly dull".
I like this better than Laugh Tracks. But it's the same formula, I guess. Heavy, angry, lots of breakdowns. There's a little more variation on the vocals with the lows being incorporated more. Not sure if that helps you or not lol. You might just have to give it a listen. The first three tracks, Mistakes Like Fractures, and Denied by Fate are probably the ones I would recommend.

I don't think any of their songs will ever touch Oblivions Peak though. Holy fuck what a jam
