I toyed with the idea, but I have so little knowledge of deathcore and this band's past work, much less the work of their supposed contemporaries, that I'd be talking out of my ass.

When us Deathcore extraordinaire's left the Sputnik Staff we were but the learners. Now, WE are the masters!

I just like the ear for melody, excellent musicianship, lack of constant chug chug cookie monster, eye roll moments, and even the production itself. Super loud but thats the point and in this context with the killer songwriting on offer, fitting. Vocals, all styles, are obscenely well done-- my review basically.
