Yeah, I think he's mistaking the album's mix with an actual bass guitar, because I can barely hear the actual instrument in any of the 4 songs I listened to.

Or he's parodying Spinal Tap in the worst of ways...

Waiting on my preorder to arrive. I'm not huge on Bloodline after listening a couple times so I hope I'll like the album as a whole.

No idea why this is getting so much hate. This is just a well-crafted and fun djenty metal album that is fun and good and makes drop double c sharp riffs sound good.

Did not hate. For its placement in the genre it's pretty acceptable and sounds fresh. Details Matter is huge. Every track is pretty memorable, but that's from about 3 listens. This is one I'd give few months to see how well/poorly it ages.

No fucking clue, really. A 1 means that there is not a single redeemable moment in here, and I honestly think that there must be at least 1 track that everyone could enjoy in here lol.

you also happen to be the kind of person who finds steven wilson records enjoyable, so it's not hard to put that down to your lack of poor judgement

The only thing thats redeemable about this is how well textured the synths are. Outside of that its just cliches of 2010s Metalcore with a bunch of generic early 2000s Industrial elements added in.

Seems like there's a fork in the road with the popular metalcore bands now. Either they take the Linkin Park/BMTH path or they try and go industrial a la Celldweller/Blue Stahli

Id say Erase Me was closer to Filter than it was to Celldweller or Blue Stahli.
