Have u listened to the rest of flylos discog? This is hardly an experiment. He's just always been experimental in nature. Not sure how its "meant" to be influential either. He just is.

I think amon Tobin could have taken those reigns as well if he remained prolific but yeah I'd agree flylo is probs the closest bet

He did some talking here as well and brought iglooghost on stage to gush about him etc

Just checked and the show I was at in 2017 isn't on their either, however I checked the set list for the closest date to it and he played it there. The more I think about it the more certain I am he played it, although I feel like it wasnt in its entirety, I think he transitioned into it as part of a medley of sorts

Haven't seen him since his You're Dead tour either but he played the tease with the scat/acapella bit that opens Do the Astral Plane throughout before just unleashing it. Magic, though I was just as enthralled by Everything Else tbh. Wondrous night.

Honestly his whole clicks and whistles show now still cant compare to the first time i saw him in like 2007 mashed off my face at 2 am for about 100 people or less. One of my fave sets/shows ever
