Why? I don't get this attitude at all. I'd even say the exact opposite: it's super weird and undesirable that 'we as music consumers' expect bands to release new material every other year.

I'm fine with the wait tbh. As a fan you crave new material and that's natural, but I'd rather wait 5, 7, or even 10 years for a superb album than have scattered mediocrity every 2 years

Here you go buddy:

When sweet sister has to go to work

She locks me in my room

She's gifted me a doll

So that I'm not alone

When sweet sister has to go to work

She does not go by train

Her creative space is not far away

Its right in the room next door

In the sky, dark clouds gather

I take my medicine nicely/obediently

And wait here in my duvet

Until the sun goes down

They come and they go

And often also with two/together

The evening birds sing

And the sister screams

In the sky, dark clouds gather

I take my medicine nicely/obediently

And wait here in my duvet

Until the sun goes down

And then I ripp off the doll's head

Then I ripp off the doll's head

Yes, I bite off the doll's neck

I'm not doing so well

I ripp off the doll's head

Yes, I ripp off the doll's head

And then I bite of the doll's neck

I'm not doing so well, no!

When sweet sister indulges in her work

The light in the window red

I watch through the keyhole

And one struck her dead

And now I'm ripping off the doll's head

Yes I'm ripping off the doll's head

And then I bite off the doll's neck

Now I'm doing fine, yes!

I ripp off the doll's head

Yes, I ripp off the doll's head

And now I bite of the doll's neck

I'm doing very well, yes!

When you dig a little deeper there could be more behind the lyrics then you'd think. Originally, most of the song was taken from a poem Till Lindemann wrote, in which he was talking about his mother, not his sister. There's a theory that in the song, it is actually his mother, not his sister. Because of his mother trying to protect him from being called a 'whoreson' he is asked to call her 'Schwesterlein'.

The medicine he has to take is also interesting. It might be a sleeping draft or some kind of drug to keep him from making too much noise while she is 'working' next door, so she and her clients do not get disturbed.

He takes his frustrations out on the doll which substitutes for his sister/mother and almost seems to act as some kind of voodoo doll in the final chorus.

Fuck yes, thank you Scheumke. I read that it was based on

"Der Songtext bezieht sich in Teilen auf das Gedicht „Wenn Mutti spät zur Arbeit geht“ von Till Lindemann, das in dem Buch „In stillen Nächten“ auf Seite 24, 25 zu finden ist.

Im Song „PUPPE“ wird aus der Mutter die Schwester, einige Zeilen und Strophen werden direkt aus dem Gedicht übernommen, einige erscheinen abgewandelt. Neu dazuaddiert ist die Puppe als Leitmotiv."

Dazuaddiert is my new favourite word.

Honestly, I'm not to fond of Hallomann, I even consider is one weakest cuts of this record...

First 6 songs are fucking gold. In the last 3 songs is where it looses steam for me (being good songs though)

that's a very tough question...maybe between Puppe and Hallomann but I remember there being a ton of awesome riffs mid album that I don't seem to get to quite as often so that could change

The opening duo of Deutschland/Radio is also immensely satisfying

Yeah, big fan of puppe myself. Deutschland and radio have grown on me immensely since they were released; they work really well in the context of the album.
