Same, I've been spinning it non-stop since it came out.

Initially I found this pretty but dull. Came back to it recently, gave it a few more listens, and it has really grown on me. This is seriously beautiful.

Still sounds dull to me. These songs are not interesting enough to be as long as they are.

The arrangements on this are simply superb and a bliss to listen to. No idea how this could be uninteresting.

I'm a huge Owen fan and AF2 is the best Owen album in ages. More into that vibe than the dream pop here, don't think it suits them much.

Listened to this a bunch the week or two after release but I don’t really feel the need to hear it ever again. As pleasant background atmosphere music it’s great but I find the songwriting a bit too thin and the uber glossy sheen can get annoying/cloying. Don’t fully love the debut either but at least the songwriting had a bit more substance.

this feels so much more natural for them than AF2. that album was trying to be fan service I think, and this was just them letting loose and writing whatever came naturally. there's progression, but simultaneously doesn't sound foreign to them.

I can definitely see why people would prefer this to their first album. Both are amazing, in my eyes. Beautiful records.

I really enjoy AF2, but this is wrong.
