Yeah, relistened too. Better than I remember it to be, mix is very bad in places but pretty good in others too. Love At Wit's End, but it's a shame the drums sound very robotic/sampled and LaBrie is so overproduced

Bought tickets for the metropolis pt. 2 tour. Stoked but now that means I have to familiarise myself with this as well

Huh, actually wasn't that bad. Fall Into the Light and At Wit's End are genuinely pretty good.

Do you walk into Greggs to get your sausage roll and feel ‘stoked’ that they’ve got broken bits of bread pudding for free up near the till?

Or do you think it ‘sucks’ ‘ass’ that they haven’t got any lucozade left in the drinks cabinet bit.

Either way it’ll be ‘choice’ when you pop into the newsagents because they’ve got a discounted copy of some old thing or other on the shelf which is ‘awesome’

Stay Brit Choccy otherwise it’s Skittles from here on in son.

Oddly enough, I tried one of those vegan steak bakes today and was pleasantly surprised at how not shit it is. £1.55 though? Not so sure about that for some mushroom protein

I've been enjoying the new Sons of Apollo, it has a couple of good songs.

I particularly like the guitar work, and the vocals are also nice. Desolate July rocks.

I LOVE Fall Into the light's opening riff. I don't really listen to the rest of the song

Just can't get into Fall into the Light (apart from the intro) and PBD

@kalk: I did enjoy it a few times during the early listening sessions, but now I skip it after the intro pretty much. It just feels like cliché DT I guess

Doesn't everything DT makes feel like cliché DT? haha

Hahah I was thinking that as I typed my comment, but for some reason Fall into the Light is a bit TOO cliche Haha. I seem to be in the minority there though

Fall into the Light is definitely a highlight. The middle section is different from anything they've really done before and there is a thrash vibe at the start, I wouldn't say it's cliche DT at all. Maybe the organ solo, but that kicks ass, so...

Pale Blue Dot rules but it lacks a proper ending/climax. Needed another verse and a few extra minutes. The opening riff might be the heaviest riff they've ever done.

Fall Into The Light is definitely very similar to Master of Puppets.

Pale Blue Dot is has the dj0ntz, heavy as shit
