Jon Mess has more talent than Oli.

At least Jon can perform live, and he sounds damn good too.

I honestly don’t get how you people can give this anything higher than a 2.5.

This is like 2019’s Erase Me. Prob worse tbh.

I mean, I do get it, but it's ridiculous.

ArSe may have grown on me since first listen, but there's still plenty of annoying shit on there. Whatever, most of their contemporaries do the Swancore thing a lot better than DGD themselves do. Eidola, A Lot Like Birds, Tides of Man, Icarus the Owl, Shrezzers, etc. and without the dumbfuckery lyrics about tapping into feline brains or whatever other random shit they could think of.

I'm sorry you're too dumb to understand the complexities of Jon Mess's lyricism.

This review reads like something from a 4chan forum. It may well be a rubbish album, but come on, man. You're staff! Try at least make it witty and funny like the staff reviewer that demolished the latest Imagine Dragons record. For the posters that laugh at the fact that Metacritic deleted this album review from their aggregate score, yeah it may be quite funny, but if this site wants to be a credible authority and a reference in music journalism, then it can do without lazy efforts like this.

So the album sux but so does this ****I'm a new buzzfeed writer and I desperately want to stake my claim as this no nonsense but also extremely quirky writer but also unashamedly nerdy but somehow pulls it off on gurl power alone to still be cool oh god this article is gonna trend so bad wow I'm going to get so many twitter mentions and then my career will truly take off**** level hit piece

“This is like 2019’s Erase Me.”

I mean I get what you’re tryin to say but I’d say this album was definitely a lot more experimental and not just a straight regression of a style they had already nailed. Erase Me was another album that got stupidly overhated, so, in that context, you right. I think that one deserves the negative attention more than this, however.
