Finally listened to this for real, and I gotta admit....you guys are too harsh on these kids. Yeah they’re derivative as fuck, but so are half of the black folk metal bands I listen to that are ripping off either Burzum or Agalloch. You guys are hyposictial. At least these 20 year olds are good at what they do. The singer in particular has chops. But yes, they are a carbon copy of Zep.

its true that there are a lot of unoriginal black metal bands, but many of them arent actual carbon copies where the musicians make zero attempt at putting their own spin on it, or at least have some inadvertent element to set them apart if only slightly.
