It’s so nice to see that many musicians and bands are still trying to “use their time wisely” and be productive. It helps everyone out more than they realize (:

k nit feeling the new song atm. It's heavy, but the songwriting isn't that great imo.

I liked the first minute of the song ,then it got boring. But who knows, maybe the album will be real nice?

Yea, Haken are competent songwriters so I'm still optimistic. But honestly I don't want them to make another album like this soon. As much as this slaps, this style gets stale pretty quickly. That's why it's good that Vector is just 45 minutes long.

Okay, looks like Virus is connected to Vector. Alright then, I can definitely accept this. The new song isn't great though

Many people expected Vektor to be connected with another album soon, sth like BtBAM's Automata. New song sounds amazing to me, the bass tone is soooooooooo tasty and the chorus is anthemic, so it's going to be a live-favourite. Last minute of the song slaps as well.

Sometimes it can be annoying the high-pitched classic prog voice, but the vocals on the new one have some nice effects on them

I'm listening to concept albums atm with a very close look at the lyrics and OMG this IS the origin story of the Cockroach King! And it's actually pretty straightforward.

Clear - Intro

The Good Doctor - We get introdiced to patient 21, the successful experiment of Doctor Rex. Patient 21 has to take drugs and gets electro shock therapy. From there on everything happens in the patients psyche.

Puzzle Box - The patient notices memories that aren't theirs. It is like there is another presence in their mind. It confuses him and makes their understanding of theirself crumble. In the end the patient understands there is another consciousness inside of them.

Veil - Basically the patient befriends/accepts the other consciousness, even though the patient is pretty cautious about this.

Nil by Mouth - I interpret this as the experiments going on while the other consciousness (that's referred tonas an insect all the time) grows stronger

Host - The patient loses control, the insect defeated them and takes over

A Cell Devides - The insect now owns the body and it starts to lose its human form. Voila, the Cockroach King is born.

I HAVE to 5 this now. It's perfect.

Bands should do a better job of explaining their concept albums stories tbh
